General Policies
All campsites are on the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex grounds; campers are required to respect and comply with the rules and regulations governing the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex and Meadows Music Festival.
While Meadows Music Festival has security on site throughout the weekend, neither Meadows Music Festival nor the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex assume any responsibility for goods lost or stolen or for any damage to vehicles or equipment parked at this site.
Campers must camp on the site they have registered and paid for.
No refund will be offered to campers that leave the Festival early.
All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges are available.
Every person who is camping must have and wear a valid Festival weekend (General Admission or VIP) wristband.
Alcohol, vaping and the smoking of cannabis is permitted only on your campsite, and only for those aged 19 and older.
As a courtesy to other campers, quiet hours shall be from 1:00am to 7:00am with site policing. Please be aware that this is a family Festival, and we encourage respect for all attendees.
For safety reasons, two-wheeled motorized vehicles and bicycles are NOT permitted on the Festival grounds.
Pets are permitted on campsites only and excluding Service Dogs, are not permitted in the general Festival grounds including Festival events areas or Concessions areas. For more information, please visit the Pets Policy on our website.
Check-In Time
Friday May 30: 8am - 1:30pm
To ensure the safety of our volunteer organizers and to avoid disruption of final site setup, campers are not permitted to enter the CW Sportsplex parking lot or Festival Grounds any earlier than 8 am Friday without written permission from Meadows Music Festival staff. Earlier arrivals will be asked to leave the grounds and may be subject to ejection.
All campers must vacate the Festival Grounds by 12:00 noon Sunday at the latest and leave their site clean and free of garbage.
Do not leave broken or damaged camping equipment for disposal.
All campers must remove propane cylinders from the grounds for appropriate disposal.
Campsite Restrictions
Meadows will be offering three site options. Non serviced camping (tent), RV/camper trailer serviced or Oversized non serviced sites.
Camping unit size is defined as from front hitch (front bumper for RV) to rear bumper. NOT LIVING SPACE.
Camping units that exceed size restrictions may not be admitted to the grounds. This is to ensure all roadways are kept clear for the safety of our guests, volunteers and emergency vehicles if required.
Most sites are 20 feet x 40 feet.
Sites designated as “Oversized” are 20 feet x 50 feet.
Max two pieces of shelter equipment plus one dining shelter on your campsite, where space allows.
No more than 6 people per campsite unless the people comprise a single family of parents and their children.
The Festival does not supply picnic tables for campsites.
Electrical and Water
Electrical hookup is provided for those who book an RV/Camper Trailer site – All campers are to provide their own electrical cord. This cord must be a min minimum rated 12/2 with ground. Smaller rated cords may result in fire, power surges, or damage to electrical systems.
Electrical outlets are 15A rated. Tampering with electrical breakers, outlets / boxes is not permitted in any way. Violators will be subject to charges for any onsite electrical diagnostics or repairs resulting from tampering and will be ejected from the campground.
Depending on site location to power pole, approximately 110 feet of cord may be required.
Be considerate and limit electricity use to essentials such as lighting, refrigeration, cellular charging and personal medical devices. Due to 15A max capacity, the use of air conditioning is NOT permitted.
Limited water hookup is provided for serviced RV/Camper Trailer sites.
Generators are permitted only on sites marked “Oversize” (see camping map and legend) and use is restricted to 7:30 am to 10 am, and 4 pm to 8 pm. Max generator size is 3500W.
Black/grey water dumping stations are not available on Festival grounds.
Campsite Parking
Every campsite will receive one camp site parking pass, which allows parking for one steering wheel, for example: One RV, truck bed camper, etc. OR one passenger vehicle plus one towed unit (tent trailer, pop-up trailer, travel trailer, or 5th wheel trailer) OR one passenger vehicle for sleeping or transporting tent.
Camping Fire Protocol
Due to recent changes to Township of Centre Wellington bylaws, wood burning campfires are NOT permitted. Propane fuel fire bowls are permitted if there is no fire ban in effect. All campers must have a fire extinguisher visible on their campsite. Campers that do not comply will be subject to fines and will be asked to leave the Festival. Refunds will not be provided.
Alcohol
Outside alcoholic beverages are permitted in the campgrounds but must be consumed within the camping area and must follow the allowable amounts:
- No more than two (2) bulk alcohol items per person in aluminum or plastic containers only. No glass containers of any kind.
- One “bulk alcohol” item is defined as:
- One (1) case (24 cans) of beer, cooler or malt-based beverage.
- One (1) 26 oz. container of liquor
- One (1) 4L box of wine
- Tall cans are permitted in place of regular-sized cans. You may mix two different types of bulk items. Glass bottles are strictly prohibited.
Underage Drinking Is Not Permitted.
Camping FAQ
Where do I go if I have a question?
Should you have any questions or concerns while camping at the Festival, please visit the Camping Registration Tent or Information Services Tent. Volunteers and ambassadors are readily available on the Festival grounds. Before the festival, please email howdy@meadowsfest.ca.
Is ice available for purchase?
Limited ice will be available for purchase on Festival grounds and is also available for purchase at nearby convenience stores within walking distance of the campsites.
When do I have access to toilets?
Portable toilets are available throughout the Festival grounds and washroom facilities are available at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, Thursday through Monday, 6am to Midnight.
Do I have access to showers and washroom facilities?
Shower and washroom facilities are available in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex:
- Friday 12 noon – 11pm
- Saturday 6am – 11pm
- Sunday 6am – 12 noon
What about garbage disposal?
All campers must leave their campsite clean and free of garbage. Garbage disposal and garbage receptacles are available on site.

Are dump stations available?
Black/grey water dumping stations are NOT available on Festival grounds.
The closest campground with dumping facilities is Highland Pines Campground. Call ahead to ensure availability.
Is electricity available at the campsites?
Electrical hookup is provided at serviced campsites.
All campers are to provide their own electrical cord. This cord must be a minimum rated 12/2 with ground.
Smaller cords with different ratings may result in fire, power surges, or damage to electrical systems.
Is water available at the campsites?
Limited water hookup is provided for service RV/Camper spots, though water hook-up for each individual site is not guaranteed.
We suggest that you bring along up to 100 feet for water hook-up.
Water tank fill-up stations are NOT provided on site and campers are required to fill their tanks before arrival.
How many people can camp on one site?

How big are the campsites?
Most sites are approximately 20′ x 40′.
There is a dedicated camping row for RVs over 40 feet designated as “Oversized.” These spots are 20 feet by 50 feet.
